I recently visited Sephora and left feeling pretty embarrassed and disappointed. I tried to pay with a $100 bill I received as a graduation gift, but the employees refused to accept it because it was an older version, not the newer one with colorful security features. The cashier did the marker test (which I understand is standard procedure), and it didn’t leave a mark, indicating the bill was real. My recommendation is to only make purchases at a normal Sephora store. They make it nearly impossible to return your item. It doesn’t follow any of the standard returns rules. Remember it’s just a Kohl’s.
