I returned something I bought online and a male manager said since i used paypal to buy it online, I could only get a gift card. I made sure to ask if I could use the card online and he said yes, sephora.com. Just went to use it online, and no, it is only for in-store purchases. So frustrating. I called customer service and they refused to help me and wouldn't even send the product I wanted to the store so I could buy it there. I had a really awful experience today at Sephora on 60th and lex. ( usually I go to the one on 86th and lex, but it closed for renovation) From the moment I walked in, something felt off—none of the staff greeted customers or even acknowledged anyone coming in. I tried to brush it off at first, but as I walked through the store, it only got worse. We were walking out of Bloomingdale’s and my wife wanted to stop at Sephora to look at some makeup. The store is very busy due to its location. It seems to be just wrapping up some renovation and the store looks very fresh and well laid out. Easy to find things and the staff who are all around are super helpful.
