When I tried to pay for my items the card reader wasn’t accepting my payment and kept displaying a message that said “communication error”. I tried using two different debit cards and Apple Pay and it still wasn’t working. I’ve never seen this message on a card reader before, it’s either going to say “approved” or “declined” so I asked the girl that was checking me out what communication error meant and she said that I needed to contact my bank and that my card declined and acted like there was nothing she could do.
