I just want to give a big shoutout to Lina at Sephora Carrefour Laval! I literally walked in at the last 30 minutes before closing and I felt a little bad but Lina was absolutely amazing! She was so patient, attentive and genuinely nice throughout the whole experience. Je suis passée chez Sephora aujourd’hui, dimanche 20 septembre vers 16h30, au rayon skincare/The Ordinary. Une employée âgée, lunettes et cheveux rouges, m’a interpellée très agressivement et en criant, en me disant de ne pas toucher aux produits. Le plus choquant? d’autres clients touchaient aux mêmes produits devant moi sans problème! Quand je lui ai demandé pourquoi, elle m’a répondu : « Parce que c’est vous. » En tant que femme noire, j’ai vécu cette différence de traitement comme profondément discriminatoire et raciste.... read more
