Where I’m from the Sephora stores ( based in kohls) are already rough. They usually don't have anything that I’m looking for, staff hardly ever acknowledges you, it’s just not a nice experience for the prices they are charging. That being said I decided to make a day trip and head to Geneva and that was easily the best decision. They offered so much variety, everyone was kind and greeted me and offered assistance. I have been a faithful customer of the Sephora in Geneva, IL since they opened. Unfortunately, the store has become messy and cluttered. The sales persons walk right past you, not asking if you need assistance. They are often seen applying their makeup in the mirrors rather than picking up the makeup stations. The testers are all yucky from people testing and the staff not keeping those areas clean. I am increasingly disappointed in this location so I only shop online now.

We made a purchase at the end of August and tried to return it on the 30th day, within the 30 day return window. We arrived at the store as they were closing the store at 7pm. They locked the door in front of us and wouldn't let us in. From there, the same evening, we decided to go to a Sephora location at Kohls, since they were open till 10pm. Lady there told us that their Sephora is not the same and they used different system, so she won't be able to do anything. The very next day we went back to the original location in G... read more
