I don’t buy makeup and am a bit awkward. When I entered the store, I was very nicely greeted by Michael (or Micheal) who asked me my pronouns and gave me his. He then very kindly spent the next 30 minutes helping me test of foundation and answering my (probably ridiculously easy) questions about makeup. At no point did I feel embarrassed and Michael (or Micheal) went above and beyond to help me (he also sanitized all the products before use). Staff was friendly and everyone looked happy to be at work
Jayda was SO helpful in finding me the perfect foundation and a setting spray. She picked a brand (Haus) I had never even heard of and narrowed the shades down to two, and they were spot on. One was slightly lighter and the other darker so it was down to preference, and she helped me evaluate the pros and cons of each. Micheal was so sweet and attentive during my visit, he respected my introverted personality while staying vigilant with tending to my need.
I must say that I went in this weekend and had the opportunity to have Jocenay wait on me. This young lady had exemplary customer service skills and amazing product knowledge! She is the Sephora Standard I have come to know and love for over the past 8 years!
