I love Maya and the receptionist is great as well. The problem is that when you call to get an appointment or to renew prescriptions, the phone service is horrific. You have to wait on hold forever and when someone finally answers, the service is poor. If you want to make an appointment they give you a date months in advance but if you physically go into the office you can usually get an appointment the next week. My family has been with Sentry Health for a few years now, and I've never been a fan. As of lately, there have been extremely long wait times for booking appointments. Half the time nobody answers, and when they do, they book an appointment for a month later; even for prescription refills. One time during an appointment, they said "try and call earlier next time"... I called 3 weeks ahead and got booked 2 weeks later. Ridiculous. I have been a patient with this service a few years now. I don't find it effective and it isn't at all user friendly. The phone system is terrible and you wait for ever and then finally get through to what seems to be a call centre. All they want to do is book an appointment even when you don't need one. They call the people doctors and yet whether you do in person or have a telephone call you are dealing with a physician assistant almost all the time. Get an appointment then the Dr never calls I call in and get told there must be a technical issue with my phone are you kidding me I have 2 numbers on file and they never called either one
