I purchased an annuity from Sentinel Security Life. The very first time I am making a free withdrawal allowed under the contract, I have run into a bad case of customer service and performance. I e-mailed the necessary paperwork on March 15 and confirmed they had received it on March 16. I called them multiple times asking where was my money? Horrible company that cannot tell the difference between simple interest and compound interest. While the contract guarantees interest compounded daily, they are actually paying simple interest. They are frauds and cheats. Filed a complaint with State Insurance Commissioner because their customer service people are too stupid to do simple math and/or too corrupt to remedy this themselves.
