Love love love this hospital! Very clean and everyone is very friendly and efficient. Came into the ER and was brought back within 5 minutes. The provider I saw in the ER did a complete work up to make sure they didn’t miss anything. Very very grateful for the wonderful staff at Sentara. I will never use another facility again for mine or my families care. Thank you for everything!
By far the best medical ER experience I’ve had. Unfortunately I’ve had my fair share due to a list of health issues. Tonight 9/18/25, Dr Brown, RN Jason and an older black woman who took my insurances, sadly I didn’t get her name, but all were so kind and considerate. They were attentive, listened to my concerns and accurately did their jobs. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. I left there in relief, with answers and a follow up plan. 10/10 experience.
I was brought in by ambulance in searing upper abdominal pain around 6:15pm. I waited and waited, crying in agony for FOUR HOURS in the waiting room. No one else in the waiting room was in visible pain but person after person would come into the ER and go through before me. I was in so much pain I was dizzy and sick to my stomach. I have given birth at home, unmedicated to a 9.5 lb baby. I know pain. This was unreal. My pain finally subsided on its own, still without receiving care.
