I had a great experience at Sentara Family Medicine at 5th Street Station. I called with concerns about a possible infection on my leg, and they were able to schedule an immediate non‑emergency consult. The staff was kind, efficient, and reassuring from the moment I arrived. The doctor took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and make sure I felt comfortable with the next steps. I really appreciated the prompt attention and the level of care I received.
The team at Sentara was very attentive. I didn’t have any wait time…. I completed the paperwork and I was seen fairly quickly. The Doctor came in, asked several questions and then explain to me what she was going to do. They took some blood. They gave me a couple of prescriptions and they are going to make a referral for a specialist doctor that I need to see so I am very happy with the service that I got over at Sentara.
