Dr. Merrill is a skillful breast surgeon, knowledgeable about research, data driven in her practices, and compassionate. She listens intently to patients, understands their concerns, explains their diagnoses and procedures/prescribed treatment in words they understand. I highly recommend her.
As of Breast Cancer,I have to have a breast MRI every year. I am older, and I have very bad veins. The MRI folks are not very good phlebotomists. The first year, the assistant stuck me and dug around in both arms, my forearms, and my hands. It was very painful. The next year, my oncologist put together a situation in which I could go to first floor infusion, and people who had much more experience with elderly veins could do the IV. That worked out great.
