My wife suffered severe back spasms overnight - absolutely debilitating with pain greater than child birth. We were able to see Shaela Shifflett, Nurse Practitioner, this morning. She was compassionate, kind, professional and extremely thorough- everything that we desire in a health care provider. We were so thankful to see her today.
Never answer the phone, very hard to get an appointment. Too many patients, not enough staff.

Been a patient here for many years and was very pleased early on. It was a good practice when it was a group of doctors and nurses. But as part of “big med” - in this case, Sentara - it has increasingly become an impersonal office of prescribers with absurd time constraints. And they’re not even shy about it! Last visit, after a few short minutes with the doctor, I was told, “Be quick, our time is limited’. Unless you need prescription meds, save your time and use ChatGPT like they do.
