I had my new car detailed and waxed ($200+) at Sensha-Ya on Saturday. After returning from a weekend road trip on Monday, I took it back to them for a wash ($66). Unfortunately, despite both services, there are still visible stains on the hood that were not removed." (The review is primary for the 66 Wash)
I’m so glad I found this place! I absolutely love how they cleaned my car. It took about 30 minutes for a hand wash, and five people worked on my car, which was impressive to watch. You can really tell they pay attention to every detail. The additional services, like the mat wash and Speed Wax, are well worth the extra cost. My car is so shiny, and I’ve decided to make this part of my regular routine. It truly made my day, and I left feeling so happy with the results.
People said they did an excellent job washing cars, but I completely disagree. I was very disappointed with the quality of the car wash. In addition, the motel owner was unfriendly and had a poor attitude. The overall experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this place.
This is a very busy hand car wash. A full wash usually takes around 30–40 minutes. The cleaning quality is generally good, and the staff are very friendly. However, it really depends on the staff working on the day. Occasionally, some areas may be missed, likely due to how busy they get. That said, car washing is hard physical work, and the employees clearly put in a lot of effort. Overall, it’s a convenient and decent car wash with good service most of the time.
I’ve recommended this place dozens of times over the decades, but this is the first time I’ve actually been here. I usually hand wash myself, but due to the watering restrictions I finally came to Sensha-Ya for a wash. For $60 with tip, it’s honestly a pretty good job with complimentary vacuuming, although I’m not sure if they still do that during busy hours.
