please read the latest Penn Live Dept of Agriculture report. This place cannot follow proper food handling procedures and cannot stay clean. Maggots were observed in bins with aprons and towels. This place is filthy. No standards. Should be shut down.
Went to the Morning Star location. Bought chicken and sat down to eat. Saw a worker drop meat on the floor (she dropped it when giving it to a customer) then the heavyset man who is the owner, I believe, offered the fallen food to me and my husband. Luckily I noticed it fell. His possible reason for offering it to us? We are Muslim and I wear the hijab. This happened to me 5 years ago and I never forgot it. At the York fair. 2 sandwiches , 3 Mac and cheese $30. Worst looking and tasting pit ham I’ve had in a long time. Meat was so thin and dry.

Great place to order in bulk and I really like their sausage selection.
we used to buy all our meat here. would spend a hundred or more in a single trip. We went two weeks ago and bought a stuffed pork roast and stuffed chicken breast. pretty sure these items were all bad. They smelled foul and tasted foul! Never had this issue before. Seems to be going down hill. We don't have money to waste like that so will be shopping elsewhere, unfortunately.
