Wait times for ER are pretty long, but reasonable compared to the rest of the province. Wait times for tests, labs, diagnostics, or anything other than that which is plainly visible are unacceptably long. Understanding that there are exceptions, there is a general disconnect between what is told to the medical staff and what is taken seriously. This place feels like fast food rather than medicine. Every time I come here there is at least a 3-6 hour wait time just in the waiting room they do not take you seriously and are extremely quick to judge do not suggest this hospital for anyone with a medical emergency this hospital either needs to ship up or shut down
If you have anything out of the ordinary, like me (heart & kidney transplant + chronic pain), Do NOT come here. You will be taken as a joke and nurses love to gossip about you and other patients. Nothing but school clicks in here. Very disappointed. They need to be waayy more proffessional and LISTEN to their patients. You dont know everything.
