Soak in a hot tub in a forest by a lake? Not a tough sell. It’s lovely here. You can sleep in a hammock and scrub with salt after a steam. Being next to a lake really helps the chill atmosphere and when it’s quiet, it’s wonderful. But omg the check-in process is unbearably slow and while they tell you to respect the calm environment, no one helps ensure it. Best visit at sensea. The sound and sauna rituals were amazing. Was able to do the tree sauna and the facial but for the first time. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the facilities. Cleanest I have ever seen it. Booked again in 3 weeks.
We visited the Sensea Spa for the thermal and hydrotherapy. What a wonderful experience. There are a variety of different saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, and cold plunges, all of which are fantastic. Don't miss the facial hut ... or the barrel sauna ... or the relaxation and snack hut. The charcuterie cup and kombucha are a perfect mid-point boost. The spa has so many great extra features ... ice chip rubs, salt scrubs, bucket showers... just go, you will not be disappointed.
Beautiful spot, scenery is remarkable. The facilities are clean and well maintained, food and service was also good. Only suggestion is to display a timer in the facial hut so folks don't linger too long, ensure flow of people moving through, and allow those waiting know how long the wait will be.
