Had my first-ever shiatsu session at Sennin-so Shiatsu with Stan Shimizu, and it was an excellent experience. I not only felt noticeably better afterward, but I also learned a lot—both about shiatsu as a modality and about my own body. Stan does a great job educating throughout the session in a very common-sense, simple, easy-to-understand way. I really appreciated that combination of skill + clear explanation. Stan is super knowledgeable and effective in relieving pain by getting to the root cause of the problem. After going over my intake, he explained how all of my symptoms were actually related and during my first session he was able to help me relieve the pain I felt in every area he worked on. In addition to his expertise, Stan is also very kind, supportive and encouraging. I highly recommend working with him!
It’s truly incredible — after just one session with Stan, years of back pain were gone. I had tried many different approaches over the years, from Pilates to physical therapy and various massage techniques, but nothing provided lasting relief.
