I reached out to Seniors Helping Seniors to have someone who could come out and spend time with my mom, 86. She was definitely reticent at first, but last night thanked me for pushing her a bit to do it and said how much she enjoys her new friend. They go to the grocery store, or lunch, or the library. My mom loves having someone to talk to about the world and I am grateful to have someone who can do all of those things so I can be at work and have a little break. Highly recommended!
