My ex-husband was transported from Burke Rehabilitation to his apartment recently. He has Parkinson's and Spinal stenosis, which makes him fall a lot. He has refused an aide to help him on a daily basis. Jeanette and Ashley were the MOST COMPASSIONATE PROFESSIONALS in returning him home. They would not leave until they saw him walk; until I called the Burke social worker, and until I assured them and signed off as the responsible person. I certainly hope you don't fire L.K.! I would hope you stay out of employee's personal lives. Would be thrilled to change my review to positive once we all know her job is safe.

What an employee does in their personal time is none of your concern & ONLY reflects poorly on you because they obviously arent being paid enough that they have to pick up a side huscle. what that is is none of your concern if they are not on your clock.

My mother is transported by SeniorCare EMS every 2-weeks from her Nursing Home to the Hospital for routine checkups. For the last 2 months of these trips, the driver has driven up to the hospital NOT wearing a mask! The ambulance has an open interior, to my 85 year old mother. My mother is masked; the 2nd EMS tech is masked; Why Can't the Driver? I have called and complained, and been assured "it will be addressed and taken care of, so it does not happen again," with apologies and warnings of "individual incremental disc... read more

My mother needed to be transferred from a hospital to a rehab facility. I got a call saying SeniorCare was unwilling to transport her unless we paid a deductible up front. I explained that I was in court and asked them to bill me. They repeated that they needed to be paid immediately, or they would not put my mother in an ambulance. The experience makes it absolutely clear that the company's priority is not patient care, and their customer service skills were non-existent. If you have an alternative, use it.
