I navigated my existing tiny shower in a wheelchair and walker for 3 months after breaking my leg summer 2024. It was a nightmare! Solid Rock Enterprises removed my original tub/shower and installed an easy access walk-in shower with grab bars. They will work with you to best accommodate your wants and needs. One of their employees even made slats out of locust wood to replace the slats on my flip-down seat because locust wood is more water resistant. (That was above and beyond my contract with SRE.) I just completed the CAPS qualification course. I found this course interesting and very knowledgeable. I would say Chris Moore did a fantastic job. The class was handled and laid out in a professional manner and was not confusing at all. His real world knowledge was a definate plus. I would have him as a Proctor at any time.
The long-term goal of acquiring my CAPS certification finally came true this week as I completed the NAHB-accredited course. Our facilitator, Chris, was a great resource, instructing us through the curriculum efficiently and effectively. His leadership kept us on track and even allowed us to complete some days ahead of schedule. I'm happy that I was finally able to check this off my goals list. I look forward to implementing all the great knowledge I've learned!
