Senior Helpers was far superior to the other two caregiving companies we used through my parents’ dementia journey. The caregivers were almost all great. It was obvious that they understood dementia, as opposed to the previous company who sent some people who argued and had no idea how to deal with people with memory loss. Senior Helpers has been taking care of my dad for over two years and they’ve been absolutely great. The caregivers are kind, reliable, and thoughtful. They help with everything—meals, cleaning, errands—and always treat my dad with respect. They also bring a bit of warmth and humor that actually gets him to smile—not always easy to do. It means a lot to our family knowing he’s in good hands. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for in-home care.
We had an emergency situation with our Mother and she had been sent home from the hospital not able to do anything for herself as she had broken her shoulder. The call I made to Senior Helpers was the best company we could have found. Grace was the one who answered and as soon I as told her what we needed she started to work on the schedule for me.
