I have been a member of Senior Care Plus for many years. In December 2025 I was in South Africa and got sick while we were on safari. I needed an ambulance ride to the hospital which was an hour away. They treated me there for bronchitis. Once home, in January 2026, I submitted all the medical expenses to Senior Care Plus. Fabulous "health" care...HORRIBLE DENTAL!! After 12 years with SCP I will be quitting them if they don't change dental provider by next year!!!
This 5 Star review I want to state is ONLY for Angela in customer service. An "Engagement" as they are called, called me a couple of months ago and explained to me that I could NOT use my current Carson Tahoe Medical Group as I am REQUIRED to use a Renown doctor. I told her I had been using them since I moved to Carson City in 2016 and they had been paying my bills all this time. Horrible customer service. I spent 30 minutes being passed around to 4 different people and they refused to answer my questions. They told me to look at the denial letter for the reason. I asked them to explain why it was denied but they refused. I asked several times to appeal but they refused and when I got upset they hung up on me.
