This 5 Star review I want to state is ONLY for Angela in customer service. An "Engagement" as they are called, called me a couple of months ago and explained to me that I could NOT use my current Carson Tahoe Medical Group as I am REQUIRED to use a Renown doctor. I told her I had been using them since I moved to Carson City in 2016 and they had been paying my bills all this time. Horrible customer service. I spent 30 minutes being passed around to 4 different people and they refused to answer my questions. They told me to look at the denial letter for the reason. I asked them to explain why it was denied but they refused. I asked several times to appeal but they refused and when I got upset they hung up on me.
There's a reason they have 2.7 rating. Do not sign up with this company SCP or their parent company hometown health. You will highly regret it. Everything every person has said on these reviews is correct. If your agent even recommends them then get a different agent.
Can't get appointments for a month. Our doctor left the plan. They said they would give us a new one. Never did. Then refused to pay for ER care.
