I am from Sarasota County, Florida and trust me Seneca Light and Water ROCKS. LOW LOW LOW cost for power. You people who complain about an occasional power or water outage are spoiled. try Florida Power and light and you would BEG for Seneca Light and Water again, FPL treats you like servants, obnoxious. This company is stuck in the stone ages. Everything has to be done in person, and most of the time, they are rude. I had an issue with my bill. They claimed that I used 9,000 gallons of water in one month. I told them this was absolutely incorrect and it needs to be checked again. They suggested that I had a running toilet, but I didn't. My landlord came out and did several tests with a plumber. They did a die test and several other ones all indicating there was no leak. This company turns off water due to water main breaks without any notification. Then, once water is restored, thick and full of mud, they never issue a boil water advisory. Careless, rude, and lazy employees justify their actions by claiming that there is only one person working, so there is no way to notify people of water cut-offs. Additionally customer service states that the muddy water is safe to use.
