My friend is terrified of blood work. She has been in there two times for blood work. She said the first time she went in they refused to use a butterfly needle. The second time which was just yesterday she requested a butterfly needle and was lied to and told the normal needle was a butterfly needle when it wasn't. If a patient requests a different needle you give it to them and you don't lie to them.
