This is a dead cave. Scientifically this is a cavern because there is a small 500 sq ft room that has 70 - 90 year old stalactites. However, they are so small they just look like a wet ceiling. The rest of the cave has mold growing on all the rocks. They have been there since the 1930s and still only have a porta-john. Climbing through the cave is difficult and messy. What a fun adventure, highly recommend. Staff was great and the tour was awesome.
Really kool cave, worth a trip. This cave is a bit unique from all the caves I have visited, it is a fracture cave. This makes it a bit different in how it feels. It is tight in places and a little challenging. I would recommend you are of average health and can handle moderate physical exertion. Had a great time, I recommend visiting.
