I went to the St Paul location on 10/11/2025 at 4:53pm to buy loose leaf tea. It amazes me that they ask (require) you to provide a tip BEFORE you receive any service!! Look up definition of tip (gratuity). I provided a tip thinking that at the VERY least I would get what I ordered. My VERY EXPENSIVE tea was shorted over 10%. I LOVE this place!!! Such a fun atmosphere and they have drinks of all kinds. Servers are always nice and I love that they have a lot of decaf options.
I’ve been coming here since I was a little child and it’s still like my favorite spot for boba. It’s changed and developed over the years but it’s always been such a fun, cozy place. Highly highly recommend the royal tea with tapioca pearls!
