Cozy atmosphere and delicious pasta meals. Best chocolate cake with ganache. Definitely will return.
We tried Semo for the first time last night and it was fantastic! The ingredients were so fresh and the in-house made pasta was delicious. We had the panzanella salad to start, and I honestly could have just had multiple servings of that and been perfectly happy. Paris was our server and she was excellent! We will definitely be back soon.
I had high expectations going in given the hype, and Semo lived up to them. The staff is great -- very attentive, friendly, and they did a fantastic job of explaining each dish. We started with the Artisan Cheese (basically a cheese board with sourdough, honeycomb, and dijon) and Panzanella which is essentially a really unique "salad" of sorts. Highly recommend both. It is always an ABSOLUTE treat to go to Semo in Fremont. The food is amazing, the service is outstanding, the wine list is fun and interesting. We love it.
