We've lived for 2 & 1/2 years in a passive solar, straw bale house built by Semmes & Co. We chose them because of their experience in and commitment to building energy-efficient, "green" buildings. Semmes and Company Builders are the first name I think of for environmentally friendly green construction. They are fully knowledgeable of the state and local construction codes and provide first class quality work at a reasonable cost. They completed our new home about a year ago and have followed -up to make sure that every detail is to our satisfaction.
