Dr. Semmel and his staff are exceedingly kind, caring, and professional. They went above and beyond to take care of my 93 year old dad when he was in need of major dental care. We will always be grateful to them for providing Dad with the best possible care when he needed it most!
Dr. Semmel had to pull a badly infected tooth and was very patient, kind, knowledgeable about how to treat the extraction due to a prior treatment I had for cancer. He seems to be one of the few in Wilmington who is knowledgeable about the effects of radiation on the teeth, mouth and gums! He used a light sedation and I felt no pain afterwards and the staff were also great and took me earlier due to the pain I was experiencing. I trust his judgement and skills.
My wisdom teeth surgery left me with permanent numbness on half of my chin. The only thing the office had to say was that it should go away slowly. Almost a year later there is no change. I would not recommend Dr. Semmel.
The nicest staff ever! There office is really pretty. Just the whole experience was great. Had my wisdom teeth removed this morning, in and out in about an hour. They sent me home with some mint chocolate chip frozen custard. Definitely recommend this place!
Was so nervous about getting my wisdom teeth removed but Dr. Semmel's staff were so nice and comforting! Had the surgery early this morning and now I am already feeling a little better with little swelling! Definitely recommend! :)
I don't wish a wisdom tooth extraction on anyone but if it must be done you have GOT to go to Dr Semmel's. His team is amazing! And makes you feel like their top priority till the end. The facility is top notch and the staff is extremely friendly. They even sent me home with ice cream! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs any sort of facial or oral surgery.
