I emailed the lawyer with all the updates I wanted made to my living will, power of attorney, and related documents. After a month without any response, I followed up to check on the status. I find it frustrating and unprofessional that, despite being a paying client, I’ve received no communication or update. It’s difficult to understand how someone in a professional role can allow their ego to overshadow the basic courtesy of keeping clients informed.
