Well, I don’t really know how they do business. I called a few weeks ago and I never heard anything back. The call went straight to voicemail.
Super user friendly website. Easy to find on google. It was on the first page. Walk thru super by step on website with drop downs for selection on car made it super simple and nice the estimated value was right there before commitment or being contacted.
Got an offer ~6pm for $955, and then at 6:45 it dropped $200. When I called to ask about it, the representative was rude, abrupt, and made no effort to really address my concern. She said that the offers are only good for 15 minutes, which is not listed anywhere on their website. I told her I understand that offers are subject to change, but across the board, other sites say their quotes are good for at LEAST 24 hours. The salesperson that I dealt with was rude, abrupt and didn't know what he was talking about. Won't go back to that location.
The layout of the website is very easy to navigate and is not too much on the eyes. There is a FAQ section that does a great job of answering just about any questions you may have before choosing SellMax - Houston. This location seems to be very open regarding the sale procedure and who they are as a business. I really like that there is a chart with recently purchased cars and their prices. Overall, the website is well done, user friendly and transparent. I would highly recommend selling your used/junk cars here.
