I received a call back from this organization and the person who phoned was rude and dismissive regarding my questions. He stated that he was calling to make a time to come and evaluate my car that I was looking at selling and was trying to compare trade in prices to make an informed decision. He told me that a rough price was emailed to me (which it wasn’t) and said this service was only for people wanting to sell immediately (which I am in the coming weeks). We contacted sell my car for older car we wanted to get rid of & didn't want the hassle of going through carsales and trying to do it privately. Josh came out the next day & inspected our car, he gave us a very fair price for it which we were happy to accept and so thankful that they didn't lowball us. Unfortunately though as they ran a PSSR check, it showed that our car was a write off, which was a total shock for us to hear! Sellers - beware! Please don't waste your time because they will waste yours - and be rude while doing it. I spoke at length with Mark (on the phone) after his very low online estimate. I said I already had a higher quote from a dealer and he convinced me to take time out of my day to see him as he'd quote higher. He did not. He was also abrupt and rude in person, when on the phone he was so businesslike. The tale ends well because I got $3k more than offered by Sell My Car just a few hours later... so keep shopping.
