I put my life in his hands twice now, and he came through for me. He did an aorta valve for me in 2017 when no one else would touch me, and a separate repair in 2026. He’s an excellent communicator, dedicated to his craft, and a consummate professional. I’d give him 10 stars if I could, for keeping me around for my daughter!

I guess I will never know why he did a SITA instead of a BITA CABG. He ghosted my 2 week follow up. Unfortunately, Florida doesn't have MAID. Look, I understand that thoracic surgeons are humans. They have bad days. He operated on me on a Monday, maybe he was too hungover to perform a BITA (which requires a thoracic surgeon to be at their best). At this point I just want a 6 month end of life "get out of here" which I might be able to use in a civilized State.
Dr Sells is amazing. It has been 8 years since he saved my life by doing Open Heart surgery due to valve issues that were very serious issues. I promised him if he got me through the surgery I would run a Marathon and I just completed 26.2 in 4.15 hours miles on 11/16. Those 8 days in Sarasota Memorial were tough but he is tougher. Thank you for letting me reach my goal. Please trust Dr Sells
