WOW JUST WOW! I'm giving a 1 star as someone I know came in last night to get his hand checked around 9pm Sept 26, by Sept 27at 12pm he didn't get seen at all or ice to help the pain or go for xray while he waited so he didn't wanna wait any longer! Stupid!!! That was over 12 hours of waiting! RIDICULOUS!!!

Emergency department staff were wonderful. Didnt have to wait long for an xray or ultrasound. L&D department nurse could have been way better. The doctor was nice. But the nurse actually accused me of taking something to make me tired. (Pain can make someone tired.) I was shocked. She also hovered until I gave a urine sample. The bathroom in the L&D room I was in was gross. Bed pan filled with someone else's pee and there was no soap in the dispenser. She also didnt seem to know where she was going within the hospital. Staff : were very caring and responsive, both to patient and to the family. Extra comfort was not only offered to family, but remembered and returned with said comfort after leaving (pillows / water). Staff were tentative with their schedules and always welcome to questions and concerns. Security : was also polite and guided me to where I needed to go when needed. Waited for 10 hrs to see the Doctor for my daughter. This hospital is always busy, however it is not their fault they are understaffed. Our government/health care system need to do better. Staff here are always very helpful and caring. I also would like to mention the man that saved our day, when we visited and waited for 10 hrs my car didn't start and both and me and my daughter were very exhausted . We went there for an issue, and from start to finish, with labs, intake, evaluation, x-rays, and doctor meet up, it was only 5 hours. The staff was courteous, the Md was informative, and told us the next steps to take.
