Every doctor I've dealt with has been absolutely great. The front staff are nice but some don't seem approachable. You get this feeling you are bothering them. It is very hard to get a hold of them. Better off leaving a message and hoping for a return call soon.
Why is it that this place is closed on weekends? The hospital doesn't do anything without these peoples approval and having mental problems during the weekend, means you have to wait for Monday when you have to go to work and not have enough energy to speak about it. It would be helpful to have hours throughout the weekend because mental illness doesn't take the weekend off
The woman dr treated me like poison and gave me 2 antibiotics for pneumonia of which I had to go out of town to get recognized and fixed.the dr said I had copd and would not listen to what her patient was saying right to her.after frightening appointment at Selkirk in revelstoke.another woman said I had to sighn a waiver that I would not return there to use that medical facility.how hostile and prejudiced as well as a waste of my time. My hubby and I are from Kelowna, and were visiting Revelstoke April 15-18th. On Friday, April 17th, we hadto go into the Revelstoke Hospital as my husband was concerned about a health issue. Dr.McLeod was the attending Doc, and we were both so pleasantly surprised by the patience and care Dr.McLeod showed us. He said he would make a follow up call to a specialist in Kelowna to expedite a CT scan and that is exactly what he did.
