I pay $2000/month plus $125/m in hydro for a 2bed 2bath at 402-1027D Manitoba ave Selkirk MB R1A 4P5. The bathrooms don't have any heating. The patio door wont shut so the heating is always on in winter. The part of it that was caulked has failed miserably and lets in a noticeable draft which needs to be taped shut in the winter to stop air from coming in. The kitchen faucet is just a bent pipe. TJ came to replace our burnt out light bulbs and went above and beyond to check our other fixtures as well!
The patio homes are very nice and big with lots of space but cheaply built. A nice unit like that which is fairly new should have central air. In the summer you will sweat all night in the bedrooms and freeze when you are in the living room since the living room is where the unit is by the very small window. I can not speak for the winter but other tenants say the units are very cold in the winter. Lots of space to walk your dogs if you have any. People are very good at picking up their dogs mess.
