When I first moved our items into the unit the facility was nice and well kept. Every time I come back for something in my unit the trash continues to pile up. The restroom is not stocked with toilet paper, paper towels or soap. Plus my monthly rate has jumped from $70 a month to $240! Avoid getting a storage unit if possible.
It's a nice facility, but twice now they have increased my rent without proper notice and the rates, while they say are market rates, are substantially lower than what they advertise on their website.
Unfortunately, this will not allow me to post a review with zero stars. Self Storage Plus routinely raises rent with no notification, sometimes two or three times in a year! Those raises have been as much as 28%! After a brief online search, it appears that this is the number complaint about this company. The facility on West Ox Rd, in Fairfax has bad parking. The stuff is punctual, very helpful! The place is quite clean and safe with fair prices.
