The people who responded to my online reservation messed it up and put me in a different size unit than the one I had reserved. However, when I went to the counter at the Kensington location, the young man at the counter was very patient and very kind and straightened everything out. He got me out of my old unit and into my new unit in short order. I don’t know his name but he’s a great employee for Self Storage Plus.
Raised my rent $28 again without any notice! Update. Again only ONE other car at the storage facility but ZERO carts. I was contacted and told more were on the way after leaving the original review but alas there was not. Not sure what I’ll do when it comes time to move out and I can’t carry everything, which will be soon given the downhill quality of customer service here. I have to give this negative review since 2 things have not been addressed timeley: the access door not working (huge security risk- how about a security guard?) for a while now, and no availability of carts. And today I received a rent increase. Bad service + price increase = thinking about leaving if situation does not improve soon. Looking for alternatives already.
