We used Select Urban General Contractors for our home addition and had a really good experience. The project turned out great and the new space blends in perfectly with the rest of the house. Communication was solid, and whenever something came up (as it always does with construction), they handled it quickly and fairly. The crew was respectful and kept things as tidy as possible throughout the build. Overall, we’re happy with the quality and would use them again.

I cannot thank Vas and his entire team at Select Urban General Contractor Inc. enough for their outstanding work on our coach house project in our backyard. This was a complex build from the very beginning. Because of Ottawa’s zoning and construction requirements, we had to replace the existing septic system and carefully plan how to connect water, septic, and electricity from the main house to the new addition. We really lucked out with hiring Select Urban to redo our falling-apart kitchen. I saw their signs for work done in my neighbourhood, and spoke to a neighbour. There was always good communication and we were notified quickly of any delays or issues. Vas worked with us and gently made suggestions based on his experience. He kept us updated of costs based on our choices, and the entire project was very reasonably priced for the end result. I recently had the team from Urban Select contractors fully renovate two bathrooms, my kitchen as well as updating the front hallway and retiling the family room fireplace.
