I have used my six months of unemployment.so i apply online with select staffing for a job and answer all the application questions.i call the lady and she sets me up with an interview. The next day i arrive at the interview im told they cannot help me find a job unless i have worked in the past six months.and now i have been put on hold.some staffing agency they are.anyways i will give a better rating once i recieve better service.

My boyfriend and I applied on Monday, and were immediately sent to a winery in Modesto, starting at 9 an hour. That Friday afternoon, my boyfriend drove from stockton to Modesto for work, and the temp agency failed to contact us to let us know that the company cancelled the assignment.. I called a recruiter on her cell and she was very dry and rude and told me shed call me back. This temp agency does not put you first even if you are experienced in the field you are applying for.I have been there 3 times after filling out the online application and resume.Each they made and excuse that i had to be there at 9:00 sharp.The next day they said i need to make and appointment.The next day they told me interviews were monday to thursday mornings only This temp service was always packed with people looking for jobs and i only seen 2 employees that work there.I will not go back for a 4th time..
this guy said that they wouldnt get them cause no exp. this is a temp agency no company is gonna want you to learn that type of job when your only gonna be thier for a day thats just wasting money come on now thats common sense!!!! i went and was treated with respect and courtesy. had me workin right away!!!!
Just about every temp agency is like that. so your going to find out a lot of disapointment. takes so much time to sign up for this stuff and the time you take to drive there to find out that they dont want nothing to do with you is a shame. Like you both said, just because you dont have 6 months of recent employment in the field your applying for doesnt mean you cant perform the job functions.
DO NOT APPLY TO THIS TEMP AGENCY. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU FIND A JOB. THEIR CORP OFFICE WONT EVEN RETURN A PHONE CALL OR EMAIL. TIMES LIKE THIS PEOPLE NEED EMPLOYMENT. AND IF YOU HAVENT WORKED IN THE INDUSTRY IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS THEY WONT EVEN CONSIDER YOU. THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THE VALLEY THAT HAVE BEEN OUT OF WORK FOR A YEAR OR MORE. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. JUST CAUSE YOU HAVENT WORKED IN THE INDUSTRY IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS DOESNT MEAN YOU CANT DO THE JOB.
