My mother was under care at Select Specialty Laurel Highlands for just under two months, and she received exemplary care from the medical team there. From day one, they are focused on doing what it takes to get patients out of the hospital. Like many who find themselves at an LTACH, my mom arrived with a trach and on a ventilator. My mom was thrown out of here because they said they only keep patients 30 days and she had no home care set up at home and this hospital did not care.
