I have used Select 4 times now to transport me to doctor appointments from the rehab facility I'm currently at. Only 1 was acceptable. Please note that the use of Select was not my choice but that of the facility. Most likely as a cost saving over the pervious service which was very good. Three of the times I've used Select was for a long 70 minute travel to a specialist in Philadelphia. The 4th trip was for a local doctor only a 5 minute drive. Going on a transport with a patient, and my driver was not comfortable with the way her van was running. Shaking over 40, cracked windshield, seatbelts not working properly, not to mention I barely wanted to sit with the filth that was present This is a MAJOR liability for the passengers. Greed is at its all time high with this company. FIX YOUR VANS cause you are putting everyone on he road at RISK!!!!!
Pretty funny (actually horrifying) that the ambulance number that already has a negative review is the one that was flying down 202 doing 60mph (speed limit is 40). They definitely weren't responding to an emergency, because they slowed down as soon as volume on 202 picked up. If you have the bad luck of having these guys sent out to you for service, I would immediately refuse service.

Worked here for a bit as an EMT, I know a lot of new or prospective hires look at these reviews (I did when I started), so I’ll leave my experience here for any EMTs or drivers who may want to read up before you start/apply. There are worse places you can work, PA earns it rep as a state with pretty mid standards for their first responders, and this company will set off a lot of red flags.
