This isn’t super high-end, fancy stuff that costs an arm and a leg and ships from Germany in some massive crate. It’s practical, reliable hardware that just works. They’re local to the NYC area, and more often than not, they’ll have some sort of solution for whatever custom cabinetry situation you’re dealing with. These folks are super nice. When I had an issue with murphy bed hardware they sent me a replacement and even sent another when FedEx lost the first one. The problem is that the hardware is bad technology. You have a choice between the bed sticking up at a 45 degree angle which makes it hard to use, or having it open without much support which is dangerous, especially if kids are opening the bed. Do not buy spring hardware for murphy beds. Look for gas struts or something like that.
