Usually I never do bad reviews but this was a very disappointing situation. 1st wait 5 months for appt. 2nd wreck on interstate and back road from Livingston to Crossville (no excuse, it’s the truth and I had left extra early but I ALWAYS arrive on time to appointments) So I called saying let me know if it’s ok, gps saying 10 minutes late to appt; they didn’t answer phone, I had to leave message. Great, knowledgeable, polite staff. Dr. Segar is nice with a good "bedside manner". A rarity in this profession. Securing an appointment can take many months. Plan ahead.
I did not have the opportunity to see this doctor. I called in to see if they were accepting new patients to begin the process of receiving care. They said they were. Then a week later when I called to follow-up, they told me they weren’t. The very next day they emailed me a link to set up my portal and called me to make an appointment. When I called to ask to be fully removed from their system to prevent any more speed bumps to care they hung up on me. I am 78 years old and for several years have been bothered by osteoarthritis.......Within 6 months Dr. Segar diagnosed my problem and put me on medication that has completely eliminated my arthritis pain. He is genuinely interested in helping me feel better......Only wish I had seen him sooner!
Very knowledgeable. Has helped me tremendously.
