The ladies are nice outwardly and do an Okay job but they talk so bad about you in French. It’s horrible and uncomfortable. Not only that, they are heavy handed and was hurting me. They will also up the price on you instead of telling you from the beginning “your hair is thin so we had to do medium/small braids” they waited to the very end to say the price went up a whole $50. I didn’t appreciate that! Especially since I had to sit there and endure them talking trash about me in French and hurting my head!
been going here for a a couple years now and they seldom disappoint. stylists are quick, polite, and do neat work. great job!
I called ahead to get the price and tell them what I wanted as I did the last time I came. I was quoted 220 and to pick up some hair for the curly parts of the boho braids. I went in and they got started right away. Which was great. When we got to the end I listened to a few of the stylist go back and forth about the price they were going to charge me. I updated my rating and gave them 5 stars. I continued going and have been getting my hair done by one stylist (recommended by a friend) who has been working out great. My hair is still short but she knows what she’s doing. I’m happy I gave them a second chance. I removed my second star due to the owner’s response. I re-braided some of the ones that fell out myself and did a better job. Since my last review, more braids have fallen out from places where my hair is much longer.
