i paid $1,000 for my EEG test where i had metal plates glued to my head and had to have a camera follow me for a week. This was in May 2024 It is now the end of January 2025 and i had been getting messages of “rescheduled appointments” for months. Only to find out this stupid company took my money, and shut down. I am not sure why I got a response from a receptionist 2 weeks back saying they don't do EEG service in this rooms, even after saying I have a specialist's referral for an EEG at the earliest... I am appalled that receptionist doesn't even know whether they provide EEG or not?? It is mentioned in your website as well that you do EEG at Seer medicals. The entire service deserves 5* what an awesome opportunity to access such outstanding technology. People complain about their experience, but it wasn't all bad. (Anything worth doing is never easy ;) I found the equipment awkward, obviously took some getting used to. It did not interfere with my sleep. I think I actually slept Better! Taking the time off work to do the test enabled me to relax more. I jumped on google to share the Seer link with someone I know and I’m extremely surprised to see some of the reviews here. So many are completely at odds with my experience at Seer. I feel like I need to share my experience for anyone who might be put off by any negative reviews. Before I had monitoring done with Seer, I’d had overnight EEG’s done at home and once in hospital. The in-hospital experience was so isolating and clinical - I felt terribly sad and lonely the whole time and it really didn’t imitate my everyday life... read more
