One star is too much to rate this woman. Doesn't listen, doesn't understand, and the staff is terrible! The final straw was when she was looking into my ear with the scope and said good, but it wasn't even in my ear... it was on the lobe?? Hideous!
I don't even want to give her 1 star. She is the worst doctor I have ever experienced. My last visit with her, she told me she would only "accept" 2 complaints of my symptoms, refused to listen to anything else that was going on with my health, proceeded to tell me that I needed to go see a psychologist because "it's not real, it's all in your head". She also misdiagnosed me with hypothyroidism before my lab results even came back, which when they did, my levels are perfect.
Dr. Kumari is very efficient, kind, and prompt. My mother spent days at General Hospital with Dr. Kumari as the covering physician. She arrived each day on time with clear, concise explanations as to next steps and reasoning for specific medication dosages.
She honestly does not even deserve one star. Most incompetent Doctor I have ever seen. Every month I call to refill my script. Every month I call and check to make sure it's ready before I drive to pick it up. Every month it is not ready. This month she said I need to make an appointment to see her before the refill (even though I did it 3 months ago and it's suppose to be yearly) This would not be a problem if she decided to tell me that she wanted the appt. the day my script is due. Ect....
The doctor will spend a good amount of time with you but I found communication to be difficult; language barrier issues. I believe she is a caring physician, just not right for me. The office hours are the worst if you are a working individual and sick appointments were not easy to schedule; staff would take messages that never seemed to get to the doctor. I felt there was always some issue that turned into a barrier of care.
