Dr Izfar is an incredible doctor. She will sit down with you and explain everything so that you and your family will completely understand what is going on. I had a perforated bowel recently that lead to me becoming septic and needed emergency surgery. She saved my life and I will be extremely grateful to her for that, she never gave up on me. She cares about all her patients and I would never go to any other doctor but her.
2026. Update! Well it’s been 4 years since she removed my entire large intestine. I have suffered endlessly trying to figure out what I can eat. To this day I have 25 bowel movements a day. Accidents? Oh yeah. Nothing like feces running down your leg at dinner, the pool, whenever. My anus has scar tissue from bile acid burns. My quality of life has gone straight down hill.
