I usually really enjoy shopping at this store when I travel from Terrigal and I’ve always had a good experience. However, today, I had a rather frustrating experience and felt like I was being targeted. Disgusting experience at the Seed Heritage store in MacArthur Square today (12/01/2026). The blonde woman working there was openly hostile and dismissive. She looked me up and down, completely ignored me, and then immediately helped white customers who arrived after me. As a person of colour, this felt blatantly discriminatory. Debora K (as per my receipt) was behind the counter tonight. The customer service I received was disappointing. I was met with looks of clear disgust and judgement, which made the interaction uncomfortable and unnecessary. Given everything happening in Australia at the moment, this is a time where kindness and basic respect matter more than ever. It costs nothing to be kind, and customers should not feel judged or unwelcome.
