I have not been to the cafe in Cairo NY, but purchased 3 croissants from here at a Farmer's Market in Lexington NY. The 2 savory croissants were good: ham and cheese & tomato with feta. But the almond croissant was not even close to what an almond croissant should taste like. Yes, the round shaped croissant was covered in sliced almonds, but what was lacking was the almond marzipan, which is usually present inside an almond croissant. I was hugely disappointed.
